If, like me, your Valentine’s Day won’t likely involve the purchase of any big ticket items – this gift guide is for you. Below I’ve featured five of my favourite things that I think would make great gift suggestions for your partner – the majority of which for under $30!
1) While definitely a splurge over your basic Red Rose, Harney and Sons tea is a great treat. Look for it at Chapters where they bring in new varieties every season. If you become a fan, like me, check back often as out of season stock regularly goes on sale for 30-50% off.
2) I love unwinding at the end of the day by lighting a candle while reading a book or watching TV. WoodWicks candles are one of my favourite brands because they last a long time and make a crackling fire sound while they burn. You can find these candles sold in many places including, often, at HomeSense.
3) As the granddaughter of a British war bride I have a soft spot for all things English. Charbonnel et Walker is a company based out of London which holds a Royal Warrant as Chocolate Manufacturer to the Queen. The chocolates pictured are pink chocolate truffles with a chocolate and Marc de Champagne centre - what could be more decadent than that? In Canada, I have found these chocolates at Holt Renfrew.
4) I love everything Kate Spade and this mug is no exception. True to the brand, it is vibrant and fun. In addition to the above pictured, there are several other colour/saying options. I recently saw these available in Ottawa at the Bay.
5) This is the one “splurge” on this list coming in at $45.00. I’ve been coveting these bfrend bracelets by Canadian blogger, Monika Hibbs, for quite awhile. I think they are so stylish and the gimp brings me back to my childhood days of bracelet-making.
So, what do you think? Any favourites? I personally would love to get my hands on one of those Kate Spade mugs {hint, hint!}.

I love the bracelet! Jewelry is such a luxury, wonderful to find a beautiful piece thats affordable.
Thanks Lianne! You should pass this along to Ryan
